ORGNZE® Terms of Service
ORGNZE® Terms of Service Last updated: May 6, 2026
Thank you for trusting ORGNZE® with your home and life organizing needs. We want your experience to be smooth, transparent, and safe. These Terms of Service explain what you can expect from us and what we ask of you in return. By booking with ORGNZE®, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
-
Client: the person, household, or organization hiring ORGNZE®.
-
Organizer(s): professionals employed or contracted by ORGNZE®.
-
Services: organizing, decluttering, packing/unpacking, relocation support, shopping for supplies, and related tasks agreed upon.
-
Negligence: failure to exercise the care a reasonably prudent professional would use.
-
Gross Negligence / Malfeasance: reckless, willful, or intentional misconduct beyond ordinary mistakes.
-
Safe / Unsafe Conditions: circumstances judged under a reasonable-person standard that may present hazards to health or safety.
2. Scope of Services
-
ORGNZE® provides organizing services as described in your booking confirmation or estimate.
-
All decisions about what to keep, discard, donate, or recycle remain with the Client.
-
ORGNZE® will never remove any items from your home without your explicit approval.
3. Deposits, Payments & Pricing
-
A deposit equal to two hours at the agreed hourly rate is required to secure bookings. You may also prepay through Thumbtack if applicable to safeguard your funds. If multiple organizers are scheduled, add one hour per additional organizer at the quoted rate. Our hourly price is per person, per hour.
-
Deposits apply toward the final invoice and are non-refundable if you cancel late (see Section 4).
-
Remaining balances are due at the end of each session unless otherwise arranged in writing.
-
Travel of up to 30 minutes each way is included. Additional travel is billed at $18 per 15 minutes.
-
Supplies purchased by ORGNZE® on your behalf will be pre-approved by the Client and reimbursed within 3 business days of receipt delivery.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
-
Cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid losing your deposit.
-
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice (including after 5:00 p.m. the day before, or same-day) may result in forfeiture of the deposit. Documented emergencies will be considered individually at ORGNZE®'s discretion.
-
If you delay the start of your session, it will still end at the scheduled time with no fee reduction, unless approved in advance by the owner.
5. Client Responsibilities
-
Work Areas: Organizing may create temporary hazards (open boxes, stacked bins, moved furniture). Clients agree to avoid active work zones during sessions. If a Client, guest, or pet enters an active work area and is injured, ORGNZE® is not liable.
-
Pets: We love pets and would never knowingly bring harm to any animal. For their safety and the safety of our organizers, all pets must be secured before sessions begin. This prevents escapes and allows organizers to work without disruption. ORGNZE® cannot be responsible for pets that are unsecured during service.
-
Children: For their safety and to allow us to work efficiently, children should not be present in active work areas during sessions.
-
Firearms: ORGNZE® organizers are not permitted to work in or around any unsecured or unlocked firearms. Firearms stored in a locked cabinet or gun safe are acceptable. Any unsecured weapons must be removed and secured before service begins. Failure to comply may result in suspension of services without refund of the deposit.
-
Review of Items: Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all items before they leave the home. Once an item has been approved for removal — trash, recycling, or donation — ORGNZE® is no longer responsible for it.
6. Liability & Good Faith
-
ORGNZE® works in good faith and to the standard of a competent professional.
-
We accept responsibility for damages we directly cause through our own negligence (e.g., breaking or misplacing an item).
-
We cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions beyond our control — for example, items that fall because a shelf is not properly anchored, or a closet rod that collapses under the existing weight of a Client's belongings. We take great care and ask that Clients take reasonable precautions as well.
-
In cases of gross negligence or malfeasance, ORGNZE® remains fully responsible. Except in those cases, the Client agrees not to bring claims against ORGNZE® for incidental issues that may arise during normal organizing work.
-
ORGNZE® carries general liability insurance, bonding, and workers' compensation coverage.
7. Unsafe Conditions & Right to Withdraw
-
ORGNZE® may refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, biohazardous, or threatening to the health or safety of our organizers.
-
If unsafe conditions prevent organizers from working safely or completing the session, the deposit (minimum two hours) may be retained.
-
This provision protects both Client and Organizer safety.
8. Photos & Marketing
-
ORGNZE® may take before-and-after photos to document work completed.
-
Photos used for marketing purposes (website, social media, promotional materials) will never include names, faces, or any identifying information.
-
If you do not wish for photos to be taken or used at all, notify us in writing before your session.
9. Termination of Services
ORGNZE® may end services immediately, without refund of completed hours, if:
-
A Client, guest, or household member is abusive, threatening, or creates an unsafe environment.
-
The environment presents biohazards or other unacceptable risks.
-
The job scope was materially misrepresented at the time of booking, or repeated cancellations make ongoing service impractical.
Refunds for unused prepaid hours may be considered at ORGNZE®'s discretion. Completed service hours are non-refundable.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where HardiHar LLC dba ORGNZE® is registered. Disputes should first be addressed in good faith between both parties before pursuing legal remedies.
11. Updates to Terms
ORGNZE® may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. The version in place at the time of booking applies to that session.
